Now there is another way of measuring the size of your cup, a technique which was pioneered and developed by Ed Pechter, MD, author of "The Right Bra Measurement System." You measure around the largest part your breast [through the nipple], starting at the fold up within the fold of the breast outside. Then you take this measure and apply the right bra simulation system size cap that broke out at 7 inches for a section A, 8 inches for B cup, 9 inches for a C cup, 10 inches for a D cup, 11 inches for a DD cup, and 12 inches for a DDD (E) cup.

Remember that no system is infallible measure your breasts and because of that, too tight the straps are uncomfortable, please do tell what the carpenters and measure twice but cut once.
